Re: Duolingo Gàidhlig – time to revisit the idea?
Good to hear that you think it's a possibility! As far as I am aware several contributors can take part at once and contribute as little or as much as they have time for.

Re: Duolingo Gàidhlig – time to revisit the idea?
Akerbeltz, thanks for joining the conversation. Great to hear from one of the most respected forum members – understandable that you don't have time but thanks for taking the time to post. I would love to be in a position to contribute but Duolingo requires contributors to be bilingual to a level co...

Duolingo Gàidhlig – time to revisit the idea?
I wonder if any of the more advanced Fòram users would consider trying their hand at building a Duolingo Gàidhlig course. I take on board the points made by Akerbeltz and Níall Beag in the previous forum discussion on this topic and I understand the cynicism towards the learning structure that it se...

Sealbh math dhuibh! Tha aon deuchainn agam ann an Gearann, ach tha mi ag obair ann an ospadal an-dràsta. Tha deuchainnean agam a h-uile latha! Good luck to you! I have one exam in February, but I am working in a hospital just now. I have exams every day! (How would I say "It is like having an e...

'S math sin, a SAB! Tha mise ag èisteachd ri jazz. Bu choir dhomh tì a òl an-drasda. Bha mi glè thrang oir bha mòran obair oilthighe agam cuideachd, ach tha stad beagan a-nis. Dè tha thu a' leughadh aig an t-oilthigh? That's great, SAB! I am listening to jazz. I should drink tea right now. I had a ...

Ceist
I wonder if any of you lovely folk could help me out. Have been slowly working through TAIC and trying to put together sentences of my own. I put together the following (simple but complex enough for me!) short sentence but I am not sure if the Gàidhlig is correct, especially with making the infinit...

Tha mi ag èisdeachd ri Ludovico Einaudi agus tha mi ag òl tì.
I am listening to Ludovico Einaudi and I am drinking tea.
(Have not been active since my introduction, apologies; university/work taking its toll.)
Le deagh dhùrachd,
SAB

Re: Hàlo!
Update: been incredibly busy at university so have devoted no time to Gàidhlig. Now hoping to rectify that over the summer; although still on placement there should be less pressure on me. Looking forward to learning. Hope everyone has been well!
