New Gaelic and English Dictionary

A new Gaelic and English dictionary covering the professional language of local government and business has been launched on the Comhairle nan Eilean Siar website. Containing over 7,500 headwords, the new dictionary has been produced by the European Language Initiative (TELI) in collaboration with Comhairle nan Eilean Siar and The Highland Council.

The dictionary can be accessed on the Comhairle nan Eilean Siar website (http://www.cne-siar.gov.uk/gaelic/dictionary.asp) and is available in e-book and PDF formats, free of charge.....

Tha faclair Gàidhlig agus Beurla ùr air cànan phroifeiseanta riaghaltas ionadail agus gnìomhachas air a bhith ga chuir air bhog air loidhne air làrach-linn Comhairle nan Eilean Siar. Tha am faclair ur, anns a bheil barrachd air 7,500 cinn-fhacail, air a riochdachadh le Iomairt Cànan na Roinn Eòrpa (TELI) ann an co-obrachadh le Comhairle nan Eilean Siar agus Comhairle na Gàidhealtachd.
